Bernard, Clinic Cat/ Food Alarm

I’m Bernard, I get asked often if I am a Maine Coon Cat, but I am just a domestic longhaired cat. I am actually quite smaller than a Main Coon, those guys are 2 to 3 times my size! I am jealous of the marvelous ear tufts that they have though.

I was born in 2021 and came to live here when I was 2 years old. A kind person took me in and wanted me to get checked by the doctor. The staff here took one look at my handsome face and fell in love. Honestly, who could resist a face like mine?

I like to start my day with a loud, repetitive “Hewwoooo” from my kennel to remind my servants, I mean staff, that they have not given me breakfast yet. I then get my morning jog in, looking like a miniature storm cloud flying through the clinic. It’s exhausting work, so I get in a few stretches on my scratching post and take several naps throughout the day. All that napping does work up an appetite, so watch out if you have any food or treats. I have been known to be persistent with my quest for food.

I love being told how handsome I am, and enjoy meeting new people, so make sure to schedule an appointment with the staff to come visit me!
