The original New Haven Veterinary Clinic building began as a restaurant/bar prior to becoming a small/large animal hospital. Working as a small animal doctor at the original clinic, Dr. Michelle Schulte came to love New Haven, its people, and their pets. Recognizing the growing area’s desire for a caring, progressive, and modern veterinary hospital, Dr. Schulte purchased the practice in 2008. The clinic underwent a major renovation and expansion in 2010 to better serve our growing clientele and their pets. In 2013, Dr. Schulte hired, Mizzou graduate, Dr. Kerry Parsons to our team. Dr. Parsons grew up around the area and loves the small-town close-knit atmosphere. Due to her growing love for New Haven Veterinary Clinic’s patients and community Dr. Parsons purchased the clinic in 2020 which then became the New Haven Veterinary Hospital (NHVH). By specializing in small animal medicine and surgery, our team at the NHVH is able to provide our clients and their pets with the latest in cutting-edge technology and up-to-date treatment options. Our doctors and registered veterinary technicians attend numerous veterinary conferences and education seminars every year where they concentrate on learning the newest advancements specific to small animal healthcare and bring the knowledge with them back home to you and your pets.
If you ask our clients why they come to New Haven Veterinary Hospital, they will tell you it’s because of our people!
