Tux, Clinic Cat/In House Lap-Warmer

I was born in 2006 and let me tell you, I know everything there is to know about the New Haven Veterinary Clinic. I have been managing and training the staff here at the clinic since 2010 and they simply couldn’t function without me, though they do require frequent reminders that the bottom of my food bowl is visible. I take it upon myself to greet visitors and make them feel welcome at my clinic. It is also my responsibility to nurse those cats and dogs who have come through surgery.   I wasn’t always so distinguished: I had my early training in the school of hard knocks. It’s true! I’m so handsome and talented that it’s hard to believe I began life as a stray…that is until I decided to move in with Dr. Schulte. I did fairly well there, though I was far too illustrious for such living conditions. It wasn’t until the other cat, Betty, took a dislike to me that I decided –as a gentleman- to move on. I wanted to repay Dr. Schulte’s kindness and did so by letting her work for me here at the clinic. As long as I have my spot in the window for my afternoon naps, time to play my favorite game on my iPad, and regular gourmet meals, we get along beautifully. I do love meeting new people, so be sure to make an appointment with my staff to come visit me!
